Who do you work with?

I work with teens (aged 13+), adults, and couples.

How much do sessions cost?

Sessions are $155 per 50 minutes. Payment is due at the time of service.

Do you accept insurance?

I am a private pay provider and do not accept insurance directly. However, I can provide you with a superbill—a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many insurance plans offer some coverage for out-of-network mental health services, though reimbursement rates vary depending on your specific plan.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes! I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions to accommodate your preferences and schedule. Virtual sessions provide the same quality of care with the added convenience of meeting from wherever you’re most comfortable.

What is your cancellation policy?

I require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or miss your appointment without notification, you will be charged the full session fee of $155. This policy helps ensure that time can be offered to other clients who may be waiting for appointments.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes, I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your needs, answer any questions about my approach, and determine if we’re a good fit to work together. This is a great opportunity to get a sense of how I work before committing to a full session.

How long are sessions?

Standard therapy sessions are 50 minutes long. This timeframe allows for meaningful therapeutic work while maintaining the structure and boundaries that support the process.

What should I expect in the first session?

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, your history, your current challenges, and what you hope to achieve. I’ll also explain how I work and answer any questions you have about the therapeutic process. This is a collaborative conversation to determine how we can work together most effectively.

How long does therapy take?

The length of therapy varies greatly depending on your individual needs, goals, and the nature of what you’re working through. Some clients find relief in a few months, while others engage in deeper, longer-term work. Psychodynamic therapy tends to focus on lasting character-level change rather than quick symptom relief, which often means a longer but more transformative process. We’ll discuss your goals and check in regularly about your progress.

Is what I say in therapy confidential?

Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. What you share in our sessions is protected by law and professional ethics. There are only a few specific exceptions where I’m legally required to break confidentiality. I’ll discuss these limits in detail during our first session.

What if I’m not sure therapy is right for me?

That’s completely normal. Therapy is a significant commitment, and it’s important to feel confident in your decision. That’s exactly why I offer the free 15-minute consultation—so you can ask questions, get a sense of my approach, and determine if it feels like a good fit. There’s no pressure, and it’s perfectly okay to take time to think about whether you’re ready to begin.

What makes your approach different?

I work primarily from a psychodynamic perspective, which means we go beyond just managing symptoms to explore the deeper patterns, unconscious beliefs, and relational dynamics that shape your life. This approach focuses on lasting transformation rather than quick fixes. While I integrate like CBT and EMDR when appropriate, the core of our work together is about understanding yourself more deeply, integrating disowned parts of yourself, and creating meaningful change at the character level—not just feeling better temporarily, but experiencing life differently.

How do I get started?
